ETHICS IN ART PRODUCTION
The taxidermy and osteotechnical work at Volkranios has several important stages, from the selection of the material to be worked to the safe preparation of the parts, in addition to all the safety and responsibility necessary for the proper development and creation, volkranios has an important production ethics . No animals were killed for taxidermy and osteotechnics at the store . All the bones that the taxidermist Karina V. Lobo works with and creates unique and authentic arts are recycled, that is, she work with carcasses of animals that died accidentally (on roads, electric discharges in the field, among other fatalities, as well as receiving the carcass of goats, sheep, horses and cattle from small breeders (family livestock) and in some cases collect animals that died naturally by age, not all animals collected are suitable for work either for taxidermy or osteotechnics, carcasses of animals that died with zoonoses, they are not commercialized, another very important fact is that only art is made of material from domestic animals, as permitted by Brazilian law.
All pieces are prepared by taxidermist Karina V. Lobo.
Volkranios values and respects animal ethics, just recycling them. Giving a new meaning to those who are already gone. The production process is slow, small-scale and very intimate. Seeking to bring the sensitivity to notice in death a beauty, learning and a new beginning.
